Happy Christmas!

Christmas in Australia: beach, barbecue, sun, swimming, friends etc. We got our first Christmas in mid summer, another new experience. Think of it, just a warm summer day mid July in Europe and then it is Christmas. It does not fit together, Christmas should be cold, dark, being at home with candles. Here it is something new: Christmas is warm, mid summer, lots of sunshine, going with friends to the beach, having a barbecue. We really had a good day: in the morning had a church service, Jesus Christ is born! Also here in Australia many people were celebrating that central theme of Christmas. And afterwards all the typical Australian things as described above. To all of you: happy Christmas!
